Laugh now, vote later!
Getting out the vote has never been more fun than in Josh Tobiessen's delightfully farcical comedy, which gleefully skewers everyone from undecided voters to activists to politicians who will do anything to get elected.

It's Election Day, and Adam knows his over-zealous girlfriend will never forgive him if he fails to vote. But when his hyperactive sister, an eco-terrorist, and a mayoral candidate willing to do anything for a vote all show up, Adam finds that making that quick trip to the polls might be harder than he thought. Election Day is a hilarious comedy about the price of political (and personal) campaigns.

Performances: October 17, 18, 24, 25

Beat the winter doldrums with an eclectic evening of scenes, one-acts and dances
 - created by FHP's up-and-coming performers and director.
A great night out for those who like their theater raw and honest.

The audience watches the actors, announcer and sound effects man present a radio play in the 1930’s about a young amateur inventor who comes up with a car engine that runs on water. He plans to patent it, get rich and live happily ever after in the country with his sister. Set during the Chicago World's Fair in the 1930s, the play captures the sense of optimism of  'A Century of Progress.’ For all the talk of enterprise and opportunity, it is clear that this America is no place for a young man to unveil such an earth-shattering innovation.
